Eating of fruits and mastering the right way of eating them can give longevity, good health and normal weight.  Cooked fruits should be avoided since it is a loss to the nutrient contents and the best form is to consume it in its natural form and absorbs all its nutrient values and benefit from it.

A whole lot of remedies will take place on consumption of fruits on empty stomach. Some fruits like oranges though citric fruits, helps to lessen the risk of colon cancer, keeps away from cold, lowers cholesterol and also prevents besides dissolving kidney stones. Though Apple a day keeps the doctor away, and low in Vitamin C contents, has oxidants that enhances the activity of vitamin C.

Guava and Papaya are the top winners in vitamin C contents and while guava is rich in fiber, helps in preventing constipation, Papaya is rich in carotene which is good for the eyes.

Strawberry the most protective fruit with the highest total antioxidant strength has the ability to protect our body from cancer, blood vessel clogging radicals.  Take fruits in plenty and avoid them after meals if possible to enjoy the full benefit of nature's gift to mankind.  If consuming the juice of these fruits it can be taken in mouthful by mouthful  mixed with saliva and downed slowly.
