Banana, the common man's fruit has tremendous benefits in restoring the overall health of a person.  Recent findings have shown that people with depression have felt a lot better after having a banana since it contains tryptophan, a type of protein which the body converts into serotonin and helps to relax thereby enabling the person to feel a lot better and happier.  The contents of vitamin B6 regulate the blood glucose level which affects the mood of a person.
